List Building – Like Fishing?

List building goes to the bible passage of, "Give a man a fish and he has a meal. Teach a man (or woman) how to fish, and he has a meal for a lifetime."

For a whole lifetime you can profit if you know how to fish, or how to build a list.

The proper way to fish would be with a net. A rod catches one fish. A net catches many.

Catch the fish that are very specialized. You don't kill these fish. You keep them and let them multiply.

If you start off with 2 fish. Those fish may multiply into 20 then to 200 then to 2000 fish.

You have to let time make it work. It takes more than one day. It doesn't happen quickly. Start small and grow big.

You need to use specialized tools to catch the specialized fish.
